How very appropriate that this should be my 100th post! It feels like a milestone, as I am about to start a new page in this never ending story that is the writing task.

For reasons too complicated to get into here, this past year has probably been the most intense that I can remember, and by now I can remember a few too many. However, it has also been very rewarding: I have put in practice things I thought forgotten, I have learned a ton of new things and most important of all, I have come to appreciate the good and essential things in life: truth, friendship, family, loyalty and hard work (as in Lou Reed’s Work, work, work).
